Winner of Homestead NZ competition

We invited our readers to win a Kingfisher Bay Resort stay for two plus a Whale-Watching Tour on Quick Cat II

A draw was held from all correct entries and the winner is Vicki Wheatland of East Geelong, Victoria All entrants had to visit various locations in Bundaberg and Bargara to answer the questions.

The answers: A.L.Stewart is the mayors name. The name of the Major Mitchell cockatoo at Alexandra Park zoo in Quay Street is Rocky and the fish is blue at the turtle playground. The winner Vicki has been advised and we wish to thank all who entered.

Included are some of Australia’s most famous, including the Larapinta Trail, OverlandTrack plus some undiscovered gems. The book features 52 walks which have been divided state by state for all different levels of experience. We had entries from around Australia. A draw was held from all correct entries athanks to Campbell Graydon.

Fly in Fly Out Dad

This book by Sally Murphy  tells the story of a little boy who uses his imagination to handle the absences  and make the most of Dad’s time at home.

Wind and Water 2013 Bundaberg Flood Who won?

In our mid year Bundy Book we invited our readers to win a copy of this wonderful book featuring  101 pages of superb  photographs by Paul Beutel.  If you would like to purchase a copy of this book go to paulbeutelphotography.com.au

We had many entries and a draw was held. The winners name was drawn by Michael Evans of Bargara.  The winner is Sandra Haig of Agnes Street North Bundaberg.  Sandra said that her home was flooded in the big flood of 2013 and she had to move out from January until October until her house was restored. She was thrilled to win the book after experiencing the flood. She picked up her copy of the Bundy Book from the Lucky Dollar Newsagency.

We invited entrants to tell us where they picked their copy of the Bundy Book and these were just some of the pick up points.
