Trip to Lady Elliot Island winner!

One of our readers will be visiting the Great Barrier Reef in coming months. In the competition in our summertime Bundy Book we asked the readers to count the number of turtles featured in the Bundy Book.

We have two tickets for the winner and partner to visit Lady Elliot Island and spend two nights in a Queen Suite Ocean View room at Kacys on the Bargara Esplanade. A draw was held from all correct entries and the winner is Harry Humphreys of Roma.

Harry is a pupil at Roma State College and he and his family visited Bundaberg over the Christmas holidays. They saw the turtles of Mon Repos and visited Lady Musgrave Island. Harry picked up his Bundy Book at Kelly’s Beach Resort at Bargara. Congratulations to Harry and thanks to all who entered. We had hundreds of entries in this competition from all around Australia.

One of the wonders of the world

The annual visit of the Loggerhead Turtles to Mon Repos beach near Bundaberg is happening later this year.
Nesting season starts in November and the hatchlings head into the sea up to the end of March.

We invite you to enter our See the Turtles competition and you could be the winner of a three nights stay at the Point Resort in Bargara which will give you the opportunity to see the turtles.

Lady Musgrave Cruise competition Winner

In our Bundy Book mid year publication we invited our readers to enter to win this fabulous prize: A trip for two on the Lady Musgrave Experience and two nights at Kacys of Bargara.

We had entries from around Australia and a draw was held from the correct entries: The winner isJenny Sylvester of Hawkes Nest NSW.

While Jenny is in Bundaberg she will visit Hinker Hall of Aviation and the Barrel in Bargara Road We have contacted Jenny who was delighted to win the prize and said she and her husband will be able to take it in 2019.

Fitzroy Island Winner

We have a winner of three nights in a one bedroom Ocean Suite at Fitzroy Island with Return Fast Cat transfers from the mainland.
This prize is for two adults and two children.

This was the competition in the Tourist Queensland/Miners Express publication. A draw was held from all the correct entries….and the winner is Sunshine Wilson of Emerald.
