The Glitter Strip’s population will more than double for the 2018 Commonwealth Games, with a flood of domestic and international visitors to arrive in the region leading up to the 10 day event and around 1.5 million people are expected to attend ticketed events. The Games fall over the busy Easter holidays, which will also see an influx.

We have 500 pick up points around Queensland.

This Tourist Qld will also be available at pick up points on the Sunshine Coast, Hervey Bay, Bundaberg, Gladstone, Rockhampton and Capricorn Coast and to homes in

Tilt Train

The Tilt Train is the name for two similar high-speed tilting train services, one electric and the other diesel, operated by Queensland Rail on the North Coast line from Brisbane to Rockhampton and Cairns and it reaches speeds of up to 160km per hour and transports over 180,000 passengers per year. This feature celebrates the 20th Anniversay of the start of the Tilt Train.
